A new way to connect people with dementia and their carers with others is about to start in Crows Nest.
Rotary D-Caf, a partnership between the Crows Nest Centre and the Rotary Clubs of Crows Nest, Northbridge, North Sydney and North Sydney Sunrise, aims to provide a social environment for people with dementia, their carers, family and friends to meet and share information over a cup of coffee.

The café will provide a welcoming and comfortable social setting for people to relax and have a chat with others who are living with dementia or caring for someone with dementia.
Crows Nest Centre Executive Officer, Denise Ward, said socialising was an important way for carers and people with dementia to feel connected.
“Along with the coffee and opportunities to talk with others, we’ll have gentle exercises, games and puzzles, as well as occasional guest speakers talking about dementia and local support services.”
Rotary D-Caf will launch on Wednesday, 28 April and will run on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
To ensure the Centre remains COVIDSafe, numbers are limited and bookings essential.
