Crows Nest Centre locks down with rest of Sydney

26 June 2021

Along with the rest of Sydney, due to public health orders, we have had to close the Crows Nest Centre’s doors to the public.

While this means we have had to suspend all activities at the Centre, we will continue to work behind the scenes to support our older clients at home.

What the lockdown means for clients, volunteers and visitors

We will maintain delivery of Meals on Wheels, assist with shopping by phone, drop extra linen where possible and make calls to check on people’s health and wellbeing.

Our volunteers are crucial to the delivery of these services and their health and wellbeing is of the utmost importance to us. We will be in touch with each of our volunteers to confirm their capacity to assist during the lockdown.

Venue hire is also on hold and we are working with hirers to reschedule bookings.

Consider donating to the Centre

As a not-for-profit charity, venue hire is an important source of revenue for the Centre. Having to suspend venue hire will result in a loss of vital income for our services. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support the Centre, which you can make securely online.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this difficult period and hope that you and your loved ones remain well and safe.

We look forward to opening our doors, resuming activities and welcoming you back to the Centre as soon as possible.

If you would like more information or to discuss with someone at the Centre, call us 9439 5122 or enquire online. If you need an interpreter phone TIS 131 450.
