CURRENTLY ON HOLD DUE TO COVID-19 – RECOMMENCING FEBRUARY 2022
For children of recently arrived migrants, school in Australia can be an unsettling experience.
Understanding what and how things are taught can be challenging, particularly if this is different to your own education, or your child’s education has been disrupted.
The Crows Nest Centre supports local primary school children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds with a weekly homework help class.
Enthusiastic high school students from local schools mentor your children and help with reading, writing and understanding their homework.
It’s a fun and rewarding experience for all, with afternoon tea supplied.
Wednesdays (during school terms)
3.30pm – 4.30pm
